Configuring IP or domain:
in this case, the data center IP address to
be configured in MD-109 is the router's WAN IP address; this IP address
can be checked by logging in and checking the status of the router, or by
accessing http://www.ip138.com.
When accessing internet via ADSL, the IP address is not always the same,
after PC reboot the IP address will probably change, so it does not make
sense to configure IP address in MD-109 in this case. We recommend
apply dynamic domain, then configure the domain name in MD-109.
Please access Oray(http://www.oray.cn) or
Gnway(http://www.gnway.com) to check how to apply and use the
dynamic domain name.
Configuring port:
in this case, it is required to configure port mapping in
the router to the PC port 9000 where mServer is running, or address
mapping to 192.168.1.10, so that MD-109 can access mServer. If port
mapping is made, the port configured in MD-109 is the port in the router
that can map to port 9000 in the PC where mServer is running. Normally
in order to remember easily, we recommend use the same port number
when making port mapping.
