Appendix 3: Building Data Center
Based on the different ways of data center accessing the internet, the IP
address (or domain) and port to be configured in MD-109 is different as well.
We briefly describe the mostly used accessing ways below.
1)
Single Host Accessing internet via ADSL

Configuring IP or domain:
in this case the IP address of the data center
that is required to configure in MD-109 is the IP address that ADSL gets via
dialing. This IP address can be checked with system command ipconfig, or
by accessing http://www.ip138.com.
When accessing internet via ADSL, the IP address is not always the same,
after PC reboot the IP address will probably change, so it does not make
sense to configure IP address in MD-109 in this case. We recommend
apply dynamic domain, then configure the domain name in MD-109.

Gnway(http://www.gnway.com) to check how to apply and use the
dynamic domain name.
Configuring port:
the default listening port in mServer is 9000, and it
can be defined by yourself upon request, then configure the mServer
listening port in MD-109 accordingly.
