Battery Storage: 

If the vehicle will not be in use for an extended period of time, the battery should be removed and stored 
in a location that will ensure that battery will not freeze. 
 

DO NOT store the battery on a concrete surface as it can draw the charge from the battery and 
damage the battery plates. 

 

11.5 STARTER MOTOR 

The starter motor is attached to the engine. 
Unscrew the two starter motor fixing 
Bolts and remove the starter motor. 
Disconnect the motor wire. 
Connect motor and battery to check 
the functionality of the motor.
