DESCRIPTION OF THE SAFETY FUNCTIONS
1) The engine can only be started if :
Power take-off is stopped
and
The pedals are at dead centre
and
the electromagnetic clutch switch is on the "off" position
and
(Parking brake on
or
driver sitting on the seat)
From the point of view of the contactors and switches :
- PTO switch = open
- dead centre contactor = closed
- electromagnetic clutch switch = open
- (parking brake contactor = closed) or (seat contactor = closed)
In other words, the electric module awaits this information to authorise the starting of the engine.
NB1 :
- when the parking brake is released, the parking brake contactor is pressed (open)
- when the parking brake is on, the parking brake contactor is released (closed)
NB2 : The engine cannot be started without the external (removable) parts of the cutting deck being
mounted, that is one or both plunger contactors being pressed or connected.
