camshafts exceeds 7kW => There is a risk of damage to the diesel engine.

Moreover, we have seen the characteristic curves for the FOCS engine in the engine chapter. An
increase in the speed above the max. speed set in the factory leads to :
- a negligible gain in power.
- a significant loss of torque.
- a notable increase in fuel consumption.
CONCLUSION : The modification of the factory settings should be avoided at all costs. If a function is
not operating correctly, first of all look for the cause rather than making modifications that might lead to
irremediable damage and/or be more expensive than the original problem.
