Navis 100 Installation Guide
3.
Insert the wall wash angle template into the luminaire so that the
tabs on the lens holder in the luminaire are firmly seated in the
slots in the template. The tilt angle of the luminaire changes to
match the angle of the template.
4.
Connect a power and data in cable from the driver to the "In" port
on the luminaire. (See
for the
location of the ports.)
•
If you are daisy-chaining 2-4 luminaires, be careful to connect
the cables to the correct "In" and "Out" ports. (The cable from
the "Out" port on one luminaire connects to the "In" port of
the next luminaire.) Incorrect connections will result in
improper operation of the luminaires.
•
If you are installing RGBW luminaires, you must terminate the
last luminaire in the line. See
Wiring the Luminaires on page 6
for details.
5.
Insert the luminaire through the hole in the ceiling.
6.
Using a 2.0 mm hex key, tighten the silver screw on each of the
three clamps (see
for the locations of
the clamp screws). As you tighten each screw, the clamp will
automatically extend out to grip the ceiling. Be careful not to over
tighten the screws.
Note:
Navis 100 luminaire mounting clamps can accommodate
0.5–20 mm (1/32–3/4 in) ceiling thickness.
7.
Set the rotation of the luminaire by twisting the wall wash angle
template so that the arrow on the face of the template points to
the wall that you want to light.
8.
Using the 2.0 mm hex key, tighten the yellow locking screw on the
base of the luminaire to secure the tilt and rotation positions. Be
careful not to overtighten the screw.
