Adjustment of the centre of balance
The centre of balance is adjusted by changing the position of the rear
wheels.
When the position of the rear wheels is moved forwards the wheel-
chair becomes much more manoeuvrable, but the tendency to tip
backwards increases.
- Move the hub sleeves/rear wheels forward or backward (pos 1, 2, 3).

Bear in mind the risk of tipping.
Always check the positioning of the anti-tips.
Ensure that rear wheels with quick release hubs are mounted
securely.
The centre of balance is also altered when the seat and/or back
support angle are adjusted.
Amputee leg support
Never sit on the amputee leg support.
Don’t lift the chair by the leg supports.
The amputee leg support is height, depth, angle and sideways-
settable.
