Swivel feet (A12)
They are located at the bottom of the front part of the grill. They are used for better removal
of grease from the grilling surface. The swivel motion is indicated in Fig. 1.

depending on the food you are preparing.
2.
Pre-heat the grill plates without food for a while.
3.
Place food on the grill plate (at the centre if possible). You can press the plates together
slightly using the handle

.
The grill can also be used when open (Fig. 2).

IMPORTANT NOTICE
–
Before each use, make sure that the drip tray

– Do not touch the metal parts of the grill or the hotplate
A10
during grilling, because
these parts are HOT!
Pay special care to ensure that children do not touch the
hotplate!
– Use fresh or defrosted food only (not frosted food).
– Never place a cool board on the hot heating body.
– Do not use metal pliers, turners, a knife or other sharp metal kitchenware, it could
damage the non-stick surface finish of the grilling plates.
V. MAINTENANCE
Clean the grill only after it has cooled down!
Clean the appliance regularly after every
use by wiping with a wet soft cloth. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g.
sharp
objects, caustic agents for cleaning ovens etc.
).Do not use any pressure-cleaning
appliance (e. g. dishwasher, WAP, steam cleaners)! Remove possible residues of fat
and food that got stuck on the plates, using a common, plastic kitchen turner. For ease of
cleaning, you can remove the plates from the grill casing as per Fig. 3 (
do not wash in
a dishwasher
). Remove the drip tray
B
as per Fig. 4, wash it in hot water with detergent and
wipe it dry (
you can use a dishwasher
). If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth.
It is normal that the surface colour changes over the time. But the change does not alter the
surface properties in any way and the appliance is not subject to a complaint for this reason!
Storage
Make sure that the plates are cool before storage. Store the grill at a safe and dry place, out
of reach of children and incapacitated people.
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts
of the appliance must be carried out by professional service! Failure to comply with
the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration of the right to warranty
repair!
