4.2 Extension of an Existing Domain
• Connect the new EPL modules according to
Point 3
and set the groups at the rotary
knobs as described under
Point 4.1
.
• Switch on the mains voltage.
• The
Conf. LED
flashes on all new modules. This means that the EPL modules are not
configured/programmed (default setting)
(fig. 1)
.
• Use a screwdriver to briefly press the
Prog. button
on any already programmed EPL
module in the domain which is being extended.
• The EPL module transmits the existing domain coding. All unconfigured EPL modules
in range will program themselves automatically to this domain.
• The modules are programmed and ready for operation after 5 s - 10 s.

continues to flash, follow the
practical advice under Point 5
