troubleshooting guide
Before contacting your after sales service, perform the following basic checks. If you are
unable to solve your problem, do not perform any repairs yourself on the unit. Contact your
store’s after-sales department.
Problems
Possible causes
The air cooler isn’t
working.
•
The plug is unplugged or not working. Plug the unit into a suitable
wall socket.
•
The unit is switched off. Press the on/off button
.
•
There’s a power outage.
•
The fuse is blown, or the circuit-breaker has tripped. Replace the
fuse or reset the circuit breaker.
•
The remote control’s battery is spent. Replace it.
The unit is not
cooling.
•
The air inlet or outlet is blocked.
•
A door or window is open.
•
There is a heat source operating nearby (heating, lamp, etc.). Move
the heat source to another room.
•
The rear filter is clogged. Clean it.
•
The fan speed is not high enough. Select a higher fan speed.
•
Place the ice packs in the water tank as soon as they come out of
the freezer and activate the “cool air” function.
The unit is noisy or
vibrating.
The air cooler is not placed on a flat surface or may be touching another
object. Please check these two points.
The remote control is
not working.
•
Make sure the distance between the remote control and the unit
does not exceed 5 meters.
•
Be sure to point the remote control at the infrared sensor on the
control panel.
•
Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control
and the infrared sensor.
•
The remote control’s battery is spent. Replace it.
The buffer is wearing
out quickly.
If the water you use to fill the tank is too hard, it will wear out your
unit’s buffer more quickly. Scale will build up there and make it stiff.
You will then need to replace the buffer more often so as not to
impair the proper functioning of your air cooler.
Rinse the buffer at least once a month with clean water to keep it
clean.
