The pairing process can have the following results:
n
If the pairing process is successful, the ring around the
EMERGENCY
button blinks blue three times
and the CP beeps.
n
If the pairing process is not successful, the CP beeps and the ring around the
EMERGENCY
button
lights red for two seconds.
n
If the peripheral device is already paired, the CP beeps and the ring alternates with a blue and red
light.
n
If no additional peripheral devices can be integrated, as when the CP memory is full, the CP beeps
and the ring light red.
The CP returns to its previous operation mode automatically following the pairing process.

RF Signal Strength
The signal strength between the device and the Control Panel can be verified via the Care@Home
™
PERS CMS
application, version 5.4.xx and up.
An RF level of 80% and above is recommended.
An RF level lower than 50% is defined as 'Supervision Loss'. In this case, the peripheral device should be
installed in a better reception area.
The installer can verify each device's RF level via the Activity Sensors or Safety & SOS modules in the
Care@Home
™
PERS CMS application, according to the device type in question.
Figure 10 and Figure 11 below show the RF level of the devices configured in the Activity Sensors and Safety &
SOS modules respectively.
