Set START/STOP switch (4) to
START.

Gently press the primer (5) several
times (approx. 10 times) until
there are no more bubbles visible.

Set the choke (6) fully downwards
(full choke).

Press the throttle lever release (3)
and hold it down. Then press the
throttle lever (2) and hold it down.

Lock the throttle lever lock (1)
completely. Then release the
throttle lever and throttle lever
locking.

Use your left hand to hold the
appliance firmly by the rear
handle (7).

Pull the recoil starter handle (8)
until resistance is felt. Continue
pulling quickly and strongly until
the motor starts briefly.

Set the choke lever to the middle (half choke).

Pull the starter handle again quickly and strongly until the engine starts.

After about 15 seconds set the choke lever to the upper position (run).
ATTENTION!
When the motor is warm, leave the choke lever (3) in the upper position (Run).
Warm motor does not require choke.

Turn the motor off by setting the START/STOP switch (4) to STOP.
Proper working position
Hold the trimmer so that the motor is always on your right hand side and behind your body
at waist height (refer to the picture below). Hold the appliance with the left hand on the front
handle and right hand on the rear handle so that your working position is comfortable and
well-balanced. Always hold the appliance with both hands.
Risk of burns!
If you hold the appliance on your left side, hot surfaces may cause you burns.
