Grounded power tools should not be connected via an adapter. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if the plug is modified or the outlet is inadequate.
e)
Power tools should never be exposed to rain and moisture in general. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if water gets inside of a power tool.
f)
Do not use the cable to carry or to suspend the power tool. Do not disconnect the tool by pulling on
the cable. The cable must not come into contact with oil, sharp edges, moving accessories and
heat sources. The increased risk of electric shock if the cable is entangled or damaged.
g)
When tool is used outdoors, use only extension cord intended for outdoor use. Using an extension
cord designed for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
h)
If you must use a power tool in damp conditions, use a circuit breaker. The use of a GFCI reduces
the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
a)
When using a power tool, stay alert, concentrate on what you are doing and use common sense.
Do not use a power tool while tired or if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of inattention while operating the power tool may result in serious personal injury.
b)
Always wear personal protective equipment and eye protection. The use of personal protective
equipment (eg dust mask, non-slip footwear, hard hat or ear muffs) reduces the risk of injury,
depending on how the tool is designed.
c)
Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure the tool is off before connecting the cable and / or mounting
the battery, entering the unit or moving it. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or
energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
d)
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A tool or key in a rotating
part may cause injuries.
e)
Avoid working in an unusual position. Always stay upright and keep good balance. That way you
are able to maintain a better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
f)
Dress properly. Avoid loose clothing and jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Jewellery, long hair and loose clothing can get caught in moving parts.

connected and properly used. The use of a dust extraction device can limit the risks associated
with dust.
Use and handling of the power tool
a)
Avoid using the device beyond its capacity. Always use the tool specifically designed for the current
job. The power tool will perform better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b)
Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. A power tool that can not be controlled
with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c)
Unplug the tool and / or remove the battery before making any adjustments or changing
accessories. This security measure helps prevent accidental starting of the unit.
d)
Children are not allowed to use power tools and power tools must be stored out of reach of
children. Do not let a person without experience or who has not read the manual to use the tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced people.

Power tools must be carefully maintained. Make sure the moving parts can move freely and are not
blocked and that no parts are broken or damaged to the point of disturbing the operation of the tool.
