Damage prevention and safety instructions
1.
(Fig. 9)
A
Warning! Observe limitations of use
G
Be careful with hazardous liquids and environments.
B
The name plate voltage must be the same as the
mains voltage.
H
Do not carry the pump by the power cable.
C
Connect the pump to the mains via an omnipolar
switch (that interrupts all the power supply wires) with
at least a 3-mm opening between contacts.
I
The pump may only be dismantled by authorized
personnel.
D
Install a high-sensitivity differential switch (0.03 A) as
extra protection against lethal electric shocks.
J
Warning! Avoid icing.
E
Connect the pump to the ground.
K
Cut the power supply before servicing the electrical
pump.
F
Use pump only within performance limits indicated on
the name plate.
Safety warning for persons and objects
2.
This symbol
together with the words “Danger” or “Warning” indicate the risk involved in failing to observe
the corresponding safety prescriptions.
DANGER!
Risk of
electrocution
Not observing this precaution involves a risk of electrocution.
DANGER!
Not observing this precaution involves a risk of damage to people and/or objects.
WARNING
Not observing this precaution involves a risk of damage to the pump or the installation.
General
3.
These instructions are designed to ensure the correct installation and best performance of our pumps.
They are horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps, made up of several in-line impellers which provide the same flow rate
with different pressures, according to the number of impellers in place.
They are designed to operate with clean water, free from solids in suspension and at a maximum temperature of 35ºC.
These instructions are designed to ensure the correct installation and best performance of the pump.
The TECNOPLUS 25 pump with built-in electronic pressure regulator consists of a check valve, indicator LEDs and
electronic control.
It has been designed to automate the starting and stopping of a pump, changing the motor speed to maintain a constant
pressure. The electronic control also prevents dry running pump.
While a faucet is left running, the pump continues to run; when the faucets are closed, the pump stops.
WARNING: Correct compliance with the installation and operating instructions and the electrical connection
diagrams will guarantee the correct operation of the pump.
DANGER: Failure to follow the instructions in this Manual can lead to motor overloads, diminishment in technical
characteristics, reduction of the pump's working life and all types of consequences, for which we decline any
responsibility.
Installation
4.
Fixed pump
4.1.
The pump must be fixed to a solid base with screws using the holes in the support in order to avoid unwanted noise
and vibrations.
Make sure the pipes are not resting their weight on the pump.
