Assemble each aluminum loop
pole
[P]
to the upright poles
[N]
and
[O]
from Step 7, using
the included #8 x 1/2 inch
self-drilling screws
[#48320]
to fix them to the uprights at
the pre-drilled holes in the
aluminum loop pole
[P]
.
There will be two screws per side
on each aluminum loop pole.

Assemble bent aluminum
uprights
[Q]
with pivoting pole
cap
[R]
and steel tube plug
[S]
using a 1/4-20 x 1-1/4 inch
Phillips drive screw
[#41873]
.
The pivoting pole cap
[R]
has
an arrow that should point
outwards when assembled.
Make sure you have opposing
assemblies in this step, with
one assembly with an arrow
pointing left, and the other
pointing right. Simply flip the
pole cap when assembling to
achieve this.
NOTE: Ensure 1/4-20 x 1-1/4 inch
screw (#41873) is fully seated. For
extra security, add a small amount of
Loctite® thread locker at end of screw.
