Integration in IP-Symcon / ESERA-Station
On our website, we provide ESERA IP-Symcon software modules for easy integration of the 4-fold analog
input in IP-Symcon via 1-Wire Controller / 1-Wire Gateway. Thus, no scripts are necessary anymore. Details
can be found on the ESERA Website under "Compatible controllers / central units / IP-Symcon-

For the conventional connection via 1-Wire Bus coupler you will find a script in the article download area. Details

Integration in FHEM
For the integration into the open source automation software FHEM we provide a software module for easy
integration of the 4-fold analog input into FHEM via 1-Wire Controller / 1-Wire Gateway. Thus, evaluation
scripts are no longer necessary.

Configuration and communication with 1-Wire Controller 2
1-Wire Controller 2 offers various configuration and formatting options. All options can be read out and
controlled by the ESERA Config-Tool 3.
Since communication between the 1-Wire Controller 2 and Config Tool 3 takes place via the open ESERA
ASCII text protocol, you can also exchange data with any terminal program (e.g. Hercules or Putty) via
UDP/TCPIP with the 1-Wire Controller 2 at any time and carry out the configuration.
For details on the communication commands, refer to the document "Programming Manual", which you can
find in the download area of the ESERA online shop and within the Config Tool 3/Docu.

Firmware-Update
Firmware will be updated by using a Config-Tool 3
software which can be found at
the “DEBUG/DATA”
tab. By clicking the button “DOWNLOAD
FIRMWARE” a new window opens to download
new software (firmware) for the 1-Wire Controller /
1-Wire Gateway.
The firmware is applicable for all device versions of
the 1-Wire Controllers and 1-Wire Gateways. The
corresponding functionality is activated on the
installed device in an adapted way.
