2.1 Sentinel Control System
1. Fan Button
o
Turns on and off the fan.
2. Light Button
o
Turns on and off the light.
o
Light goes on automatically when sash is at the operating position, READY state.
o
Light goes off automatically when sash is at SASH ALARM state.
3. Socket Button
o
Turns on and off the electrical socket (retrofit kit).
4. UV/Auxiliary Button
o
Turns on and off the UV lamp (retrofit kit).
o
UV lamp can only be activated when the sash window is fully closed. Since the sash is
capable of filtering UV rays, users are protected from the harmful UV rays.
5. Up and Down Button
o
Moves upwards and downwards the menu options.
o
Increases and decreases corresponding value inside one of the menu options.
6. Set/Mute Button
o
Chooses the menu or sub-menu currently displayed on the LCD screen.
o
Proceeds to the next step or sequence inside one of the menu options.
o
Mutes the alarm sound (only in fully open state during normal mode).
7. Menu Button
o
Enters and exits from the menu options.
o
Goes back to the previous level of the menu options.
o
Accesses maintenance mode from ERR.MSWITCH and AIRFAIL! error condition.
Some of the menu options allow the user to customize the cabinet for better working experience.

Alarm is disabled when you enter the menu options.

Before operating the cabinet, please ensure that you have set the Admin. PIN (0009 by default) and
Fan PIN (0001 by default).

The Admin. PIN has higher priority and can be used to control the fan (override the Fan PIN) too.

Please contact Esco should you forget your Admin. PIN.
