WARNING
There are extremely dangerous voltage and power levels present inside this product. Do not attempt to
open or repair unless you are a qualified electrical tradesperson and you have had training in power mea-
surements and troubleshooting techniques..
If major complex subassemblies are faulty, then the Welding Power Source must be returned to an accredited ESAB Service Provider for
repair. The basic level of troubleshooting is that which can be performed without special equipment or knowledge. Refer also to section

The fuse protects the small control trans-
former that produces the internal supply
for the PCBs. A blown fuse might be the
result of turning the on-off switch to often
in a very short time. DO NOT flip the on-off
switch more than two times within a one
second period. This may result in no dis-
play on the machine even while turned on.
Turning the machine off
too many times in a short
period.
Turn the machine OFF for two minutes
then switch ON again. If still no
display shows it is likely the fuse is
blown and needs to be replaced. The
fuse on the relay board is a 2.5A/500V
(slow blowing) 6.3mm x 32mm.
Note: When switching the machine
off and on again, wait 2-3 seconds
between each switch. For example
switch off, wait 3 seconds, switch on
again.
