UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION

UNPACKING

Open the package and carefully remove the
contents from within.
}
Discard the packaging in an environmentally
friendly manner, using recycling containers.
Do not leave the packaging within the reach
of children or handicapped people, as it may
cause injury.

Check that the content of the package is complete.
It should include the operator (1a) and the IZ1C,
IZ4C and IZ4DC operators, as well as the chain cover
(1b) (see “Fig. 1 Elements of the complete
installation” on page 23). The rest of the elements
are supplied separately.

Check the content is in a proper state.
Should it be noticed that a piece is missing or
deteriorated, contact the nearest technical
service.

INSTALLATION
Install the guide and the operator

The door guide (A) and the chain guide (2) must
be separated by 50 mm (see the details in the
figure).

Position the chain tensioner equipment (1) in the
guide (2).

Introduce the drive block (3) in the upper part of the
guide.

Position the countershaft:
Single drive: 4.a
Dual drive: 4.b

Secure the operator (5a) or (5b) in the countershaft.
5a: IZ1C, IZ4C, IZ4DC
5.b: IZS1, IZS4, IZS4D

Install the drive chain (6) and the elevation chain (7).

Tighten the elevation chain (7) using the tightener
screw (1a).

Position all the equipment on the pillar.
