The operating procedures that follow assume the

buttons and keypad keys operate as marked. If they have
been reassigned, Table 2 should be completed to show
the new function(s). Substitute the new assigned keys
when using the operating procedures.

EMERGENCY/HOME BUTTON DEFINITION

The EMERGENCY/HOME button can be pro-

grammed in one of the following conditions:

1.

Emergency Enabled and Home Enabled - The radio
will switch to the programmed home System and/or
Group and send an emergency transmission.

2.

Emergency Enable and Home Disabled - The radio
will send an emergency transmission on the current
System/Group.

3.

Emergency Disabled and Home Enabled - The radio
will switch to the home System and/or Group.

4.

Emergency Disabled and Home Disabled - the but-
ton is not active.
