In order to change the horizontal adjustment range using the Flip Head
(Fig. C/D)
, loosen and remove the clamping screws, the external clamp, the
saddle and the internal clamp, and re-install all four parts to the opposite side of
the seatpost
(Fig. A/B)
. Fit the clamp and the saddle as described on pages
44-45. Now adjust the fore/aft (horizontal) position by sliding the saddle as you
prefer. Tighten the fixing screws to 4 - 5 Nm.
Ensure that the marking on the seat post (height scale) always points to
the rear (from the point of view of the direction of motion) when it is
installed. The seat post itself may not be rotated by 180°.
