Apron
Rotate the handwheel (5) to move the apron and saddle longitudinally and
manually; rotate it counter-clockwise, apron and saddle go leftwards; if clockwise,
rightwards.
Lever (6) is the open-close nut handle, which functions the opening or closing of
the nut; if the (6) is in “close” position, the thread cutting and longitudinal feed can
be done. Before operate handwheel (5) the lever should be at open position.
Tailstock
The hexagonal screw (7) can be used to lock tailstock into machine bed. Rotate
the wheel (8), the tailstock sleeve is telescoped; rotate wheel clockwise, tailstock
moves forwards and anti-clockwise, backwards.
The handle (9) is for locking the tailstock sleeve. Before operating the hand wheel
(8), it should be released and then fasten it until the sleeve goes to the desired
position.
Saddle, carriage and working platform
The lever (10) functions to control the compound rest slide, it rotates clockwise to
make the rest go forward, and anti-clockwise for backwards. The lever (12) is used
to fasten the square slide. If you release the lever the square slide can rotate; after
the rotation the square slide must be fastened again.
In case the working platform is necessary, unscrew the nut (25), take out the
carriage and then put the working platform onto the cross slide, finally calibrate
and fasten it with the screw.
The lever (11) is the one for cross feed operating handle, rotate clockwise, the
cross slide moves the carriage or working platform forwards; rotate anti-clockwise,
backwards. The hex screw (17) is for fastining the saddle when operating the
cutting terminal face and drilling etc.
Spindle box for drilling and milling
Unscrew the bolt (26), open box cover, totally 4 spindle speeds can be available
by means of changing pulley according to the spindle speed change chart. Press
lever (13), spindle sleeve moves downwards and resume if release it. The screw
(24) is for fastening spindle sleeve; unscrew it, it can move up and down; tighten it,
fastened.
If you rotate the handwheel (22) clockwise, the spindle box will move upwards; if
you rotate it anti-clockwise, the spindle box will go downwards along the column.
Before operating the handwheel, first unscrew the screw (21), let the spindle box
move to the desired position and then fasten it with the screw (21).
For rotating the spindle box horizontally, unscrew the screw (20), operate it with
the hand, then fasten the screw (21) until it moves to the desired position.
For rotating the spindle box vertically, unscrew the screw (23), operate it with the
hand, then fasten the screw (23) until it rotates to the desired position.
The press button (15) is for controlling the spindle; the button (14) is for the
forward and backward rotation of the spindle; the button (16) is for its stops.
