INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING 3135 BARCODE SCANNER BELT HOOK LANYARD

TO BARCODE SCANNER

The 3135 barcode scanner belt hook lanyard is designed to be used with the 3136 barcode

scanner adaptor strap. Both are included with the 3135.

1.  The 3136 barcode scanner adaptor strap attaches to the barcode scanner using the

two small loop attachments on the end of the modular female buckles. Detach the

female buckle ends from the rest of the barcode scanner adaptor strap for installation

[fig. 1]

2.  Take the small loop attachment on the modular female buckle and thread it through

the captive hole in the bottom of the barcode scanner gun. [fig. 2]

  - If necessary, use a small screwdriver or hex key to help thread the loop attachment

through the captive hole on the barcode scanner [fig. 3]

3.  Cinch the loop attachment to the captive hole in the barcode scanner by pulling the

female buckle end through the loop and pulling the loop tight to remove slack. [fig. 4]

4.  Repeat steps 2 and 3 using the captive hole located near the rear bottom of the

barcode scanner. Attaching both loop attachments provides extra barcode scanner

gun stability. [fig. 5].

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING BARCODE SCANNER BELT HOOK LANYARD TO

BODY

1.  Adjust the webbing strap on the barcode scanner belt hook for best fit. Clip the large

male and female buckles on the barcode scanner belt hook lanyard around the waist

to wear as a belt. [fig. 6]

2.  To wear as a sling, place the barcode scanner belt hook lanyard over your head and

onto your right or left shoulder [fig. 7].

3.  Hang the barcode scanner gun on the 3135 belt hook from the webbing on the 3136

barcode scanner adapter strap. The barcode scanner gun should rest near the hip for

optimal comfort [fig. 8].
