Explanation of Symbols

In this operating manual and on the device itself there 

are warnings, which are identified by symbols or terms. 

Here is a list of these symbols and terms, as well as their 

meaning for the user.

IMPORTANT:  

 

Information on proper use and protection of the leaf 

and waste suction unit against damage.

Read and observe the operating instruc-

tions.

Protecting Limbs

Highest risk of injury!

Wear suitable protective equipment

Protecting eyes and ears.

Hot Surfaces

Risk of burns!

Electrical voltage 48V

DANGER

This symbol, in connection with the term 

DANGER, indicates facts or circumstances 

which may lead to serious injury or death of 

the operator or bystanders.

WARNING

This symbol, in connection with the term 

WARNING, indicates possible sources of 

danger which may lead to serious injury or 

death of the operator or bystanders.

CAUTION

This symbol, in conjunction with the word 

CAUTION, indicates possible hazards that 

may result in injury to the operator or by-

stander.

General

•  Follow the instructions in this manual for safe handling 

of the leaf and waste suction unit.

•  A prerequisite for safe use of the device is compliance 

with all safety instructions.

•  The operator must have read and understood these 

operating instructions carefully before starting any 

work.

•  Before driving and transporting on public roads, the 

applicable traffic regulations must be observed.

•  The general safety regulations and local accident 

prevention regulations must also be observed.

•  The work safety regulations must be observed. 

The operator must have access to the operating in-

structions at all times. 

Protective Equipment

During operation of the leaf and waste suction unit, the 

operator must ensure that
•  sturdy footwear,
• 

tight-fitting clothing,

•  safety gloves,
•  hearing protection and
•  goggles
to carry it.
Please also observe the information under Safety in-

structions.

Safety Devices

Safety devices must not be removed or taken out of 

service during operation of the leaf and waste suction 

unit. The unit never be operated without a suction trunk 

or collection bag.
Immediately repair any damage to the safety devices, 

suction trunk or collection bag.

Behaviour in Case of Danger

•  Stop walking right away,
•  Stop the engine,
•  Exit the device,
•  Correct dangerous situation.
