Charging the battery
When using the optional battery charger -7501-E48-20,
please note the following:
The built-in AGM batteries have no memory effect and
can therefore be charged at any time! Charging the
battery in a low discharge phase increases the number
of possible charge/discharge cycles.
Place the unit in a dry, level place.
Apply the parking brake and switch the key switches to
„AUS“.
Connect the charger to a mains voltage of 230 volts.
Connect the charger to the ES-648E by plugging the
charger plug into the charger socket on the right side of
the machine.
The end of the charging time is indicated by a green
LED. The charging time depends on the state of dis-
charge of the battery.
With a 20 ampere charging current, the following times are required approximately
.

Attention:
Never leave the device with a discharged battery (80%) = 20% battery charge, for a longer period
of time. The resulting deep discharge can lead to severe battery damage.
It is best to charge the batteries after each use and disconnect them from the charger. If you
do not use the vacuum cleaner for a long period of time, recharge the batteries every 3 months
(trickle charge).
