5.14 Displaying Connection Status
The Connection Status display has two sections: Serial Port Active Connection Status
and Port Redirection Connections.
The Serial Port Active Connection Status section includes the information described
in Table 17 on page 21 for each port.
The Port Redirection Connections section includes the information described in
Table 18 on page 22 about the servers that are connected to each of the ESP-2 serial
ports. This display is meaningful only when a serial port is being accessed using the
serial redirection connection method.
To display connected server information:
1. From the Top Menu, enter

to select Status.
2. From the Status Menu, enter

to select Connection Status.
5.15 Displaying and Using Debug Features
The Debug menu contains commands to display or control log information.
NOTE:
Debug menu commands should only be used on the advice of Equinox
service personnel.
The debug operations are not available in the web interface.
To display or control log information:
1. From the Top Menu, enter

to select Debug. The Debug Menu appears.
2. To display log information provided by the ESP-2 applications, enter

from the
Debug Menu.
3. To control the level of logging performed by the ESP-2 applications, enter
2
from
the Debug Menu. You may select a log level in the range of no logging to verbose.
4. To display log information provided by the ESP-2 kernel, enter

from the
Debug Menu.
5. To run the datascope feature, enter

from the Debug Menu. You will be
prompted to select port 1 or port 2. Once the port is selected, the datascope func-
tion will run until you press any key on the keyboard.
The datascope shows all data sent and received on the specified serial port. Each
line displays 16 bytes in hex and ASCII.
6. To escape to a shell, enter

from the Debug Menu.
