3.2.5 SG11TM Tool Capabilities and
Kit Contents
Spreading Force:
With the maximum torque of 120 N·m
[89 ft·lb] applied, each SG11TM can apply
11 T [110 kN] spreading force.
It is recommended that tools are used in
pairs positioned 180° apart, giving 2 x 11 T
= 22 T [220 kN].
The spreading force can be determined by
pre-setting the torque wrench. The torque
wrench settings will produce a spreading
force as set out below.
