8. CLAMPING THE LOCK NUTS
INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAND-TIGHTENING OF THE NEW TRIANGULAR NUT ON CAM LOCKS.

Insert the cam (

) and the nut (

triangular nut manually (fig.8).

Tighten the external tabs of the lock
washer (
B
) (fig.9).
I
t is very important to tighten the nut by hand. Tightening of the nut with pliers, spanners,
monkey wrenches or any other kind of tool, can lead to an immediate seizure of the lock, or
it could seize after a period of use.
