FRONT COVER REMOVAL

Preparation:

Remove the Maintenance Cover as described in

Remove the Left and Right Side Covers as described in 

Left and Right 

Side Cover Removal

 on page 60.

Remove the two screws (CP(W2) M3x8) securing the damper assembly on 
the left side of the printer, and then remove the damper assembly.

The Front Cover Assembly hinges on a mounting pin at each end. Remove 
the four screws securing the mounting pins as shown below.

While supporting the Front Cover, pull out the mounting pins, and then 
remove the Front Cover from the printer.

Damper Assembly

C A U T I O N

When removing the Front Cover, avoid tilting it down to the 
left. The little wheels mounted on the cover’s shaft are not 
secured and may slide off.
