1.6.6 Printer Initialization
This printer has the following three initialization types: Power-on initialization, Operator initialization, and
Software initialization.
Power-on Initialization
Triggers Turning on the printer
Cold reset command (remote RS command).
Actions performed:
Initializes the printer mechanism.
Clears input data buffer.
Clears download character set.
Clears print buffer.

Operator Initialization
Triggers Turning the printer off and back on again within 10 seconds
The printer recognizes the INIT signal (negative pulse) on the
parallel interface.
