The Epson
®
SpectroProofer
®
is an optional in-line color measuring system
that can be installed on the Epson SureColor
®
P6000, P7000, P8000 and
P9000 printers. When driven by the latest software RIP front-ends, the
SpectroProofer can automate virtually any color management process in
your workflow.
Follow the instructions in this guide to install the SpectroProofer on your
printer. This guide also provides maintenance and troubleshooting
information. Once you’ve set up the SpectroProofer, follow the instructions
that came with your color measuring software to use the equipment.
Handling and product information
Be careful when handling the spectrophotometer, calibration tile, and
backing plates. If they become scratched or soiled, your color measurements
may be affected.
Note that the spectrophotometer and tile come as a numbered set; they have
been calibrated to work together. If you purchase two or more products, be
sure you use the same numbered pieces together.
