3.1 Arm #1
The following covers are mounted to Arm #1.

Remove the bolt (or screw) securing the cover to remove the cover.
CAUTION
■
When mounting the cover, do not allow the cables to interfere with the cover
mounting or bend these cables forcibly to push them into the cover.
Unnecessary strain on cables may result in damage to the cables, disconnection,
and/or contact failure that cause the electric shock and/or improper function of the
robot system. When routing the cables, observe the cable locations after
removing the cover. Be sure to place the cables back to their original locations.
When mounting Arm #1 cover, be sure to check the air tubes and cables are secured as in
the figure below. Be careful not to squash the air tubes and cables with the cover.
If the maintenance window is not designed in the base table, the Arm #1 cover cannot be
removed. It needs to remove the Manipulator from the base table for the maintenance work.
Be sure to remove the Manipulator form the base table by two or more personnel.
