2.13.1 Filter Cover Switch
This switch is installed in the lower case and locks with the tab of the filter cover. With the
filter cover open, the intake fan absorbs external air to cool down the light valve. This
allows dust get on the light valve and the prism, degrading the displayed image. The
switch is installed so you cannot turn on the projector when the filter cover is open.

The filter cover switch signal is connected to CN802 on the main board via CN202 on the
CN board. In main board circuit, IC100 generates the interrupt signal and outputs the
power shut off signal to CN800, so all regulating operations of the power supply unit are
stopped.
