If the problem is not solved, replace the
PF Motor with a new one.
Printer driver &
exclusive paper
1. Check if the suitable paper is used according to the printer
driver setting.
1. Use the suitable paper according to the printer
driver setting.
Print Head
1. Check if each segment is printed correctly in the Nozzle
Check Pattern.
1. Perform the Head Cleaning and check the
Nozzle Check Pattern. (Refer to
Chapter 5
“ADJUSTMENT”
(p.106)

If the problem is not solved, replace the Print
Head with a new one.
PF Roller Unit
1. Check if there is not any foreign material on the surface
of the PF Roller Unit.
1. Clean the surface of the PF Roller Unit
carefully with the soft cloth.
2. Check if the PF Roller Unit is not damaged.
2. Replace the PF Roller Unit with a new one.
The Star wheel mark against the CR
movement direction.
EJ Frame Assy
1. Check if the Star Wheel Holder does not come off.
1. Reassemble the Star Wheel Holder correctly.
2. Check if the surface of the EJ Frame Assy is flat.
2. Replace the EJ Frame Assy with a new one.
Printing is blurred.
Printer driver &

1. Check if the suitable paper is used according to the printer
driver setting.
1. Use the suitable paper according to the printer
driver setting.
Print Head
1. Check if the correct Head ID is stored into the EEPROM
by using the Adjustment Program.
1. Input 13 digits code of the Head ID into the
EEPROM by using the Adjustment Program.
