Manually loading paper
You can load paper manually. Manually loading paper can be
helpful when you want to check the print quality after each page
is printed.
The manual loading procedure is almost the same as the
procedure for automatic paper feeding, except that you load
paper one sheet at a time, and press the
On Line
button to print
each page.
To load paper maually, follow the steps below.
1. Access the printer driver menus by one of the following
methods:

To access the printer driver from your application
software, click the

Page Setup
command on the
File menu. You also need to click
Setup

Options
,
Properties
, or a combination of these buttons.

To access the driver from Windows 95, or Windows NT
4.0, click
Start
, select
Settings
, and click
Printers
. Next,
right-click the icon of your EPSON printer and click
Properties
(in Windows 95) or
Document Defaults
(in Windows NT 4.0).
2. Click the
Basic Settings
tab. Select
Manual Feed
from the
Paper Source list.
3. Select the correct paper size from the paper size list.
4. If the correct paper size is already loaded, skip this step.
Otherwise, remove any paper remaining in the tray or
cassette. Insert a sheet or stack of the correct size paper as far
as it will go with the printable side up. Adjust the paper
guides to match the paper size you are loading.
