COOLING
Basically, Epec Mobile PC is cooled passively. To ensure the operation of passive
cooling, an internal fan is used. The resulting circulation of inside air distributes the
temperature evenly to every part of the casing. Casing temperature is guided away
from the external surface of the device by means of external fans.
The fans are only used if the temperature inside the central processing unit exceeds
+30 degrees or in the pre-heating mode. This extends the lifetime of the fans. It must
be ensured at the mounting site that the air generated by the fans circulates in the
right direction. It is thus important that the cooling works correctly. The central
processing unit must be mounted in a location where the circulation of air in the
casing is not prevented under any conditions. The cooling principle of the central
processing unit is shown in the pictures.
