FOREWORD 

 
This User Manual will help you adopt Epec Mobile PC and it provides information on 

the operation of the system. 

 

This Manual concerns Epec Mobile PC, which uses the Intel Pentium M processor 
technology

information specific to new products.

Brands and publication rights 

This User Manual is intended for programmers and users of the device. It includes 

pictures, drawings and information that are covered by the ownership rights. The User 

Manual provides information on general hardware requirements, connections, 
installation, service diagnostics and the programming of the device.  

 

The information in this User Manual corresponds to the present situation and may be 

updated after the introduction of new features or hardware changes. Version changes 
are indicated on page 2 of the most recent version.  

 

Epec Oy is constantly developing its product and reserves the right to technical 
changes without prior notice. Please read this User Manual carefully before adopting 

the device.

Installation and service 

The installation and servicing of Epec Mobile PC system may only be performed by an 
authorised installation/service (www.epec.fi). The device may only be installed, opened 

or repaired by an authorised person. Installation must be performed exactly according 

to the instructions given.  

 
NOTE! An improperly installed, serviced or opened device is dangerous and actions of 

this kind annul the warranty terms of the device. An improperly installed, serviced or 

repaired device may cause interference in the vehicle's other electronic actuators and 
may lead to serious malfunctions in the operation of the machine.
