OS image upgrading:
Your ePad
had been passed a ser ies integration test including hardware,
software and environments. There will be some issues happened while using
by various conditions. We will do our best to resolve them. Hereby we provide
you an updateable/upgradeable OS service. Following statement is the
procedures to update/upgrade OS.
Step 1: Find out the OS image corresponds to you in our web site. Please make
sure the model and language matches to your ePad.

Step 2: Two ways to accomplish update/upgrade OS image: By memory card and
network. Network approach is coming available soon.
Step 3: Prepare a 64MB CF memory card and PCMCIA adapter. Copy the OS
image you download from our web site to that card. We suggest you to
buy a 64MB but not 32MB is because of our OS image file may take all
32MB space.
Step 4: Insert CF card with PCMCIA adapter into ePad . With F1 key be
pressed, poke reset hole to do hardware reset. (Be careful of your data
saved in DRAM, it would be cleared) Do not release F1 key until you can
see the Boot loader screen.
Step 5: Use F2 to move star sign to item 3 “Update In-card OS via PCMCIA ATA
card”. Then press F4 to begin re-wrote OS image. It takes about 5 minutes.
Step 6: When finish, boot to new OS by hardware reset again.
NOTE: Do not launch any other items in boot loader menu. It may harmful for
your device booting.
