The Q1GI can be converted from solid co-axial venting to 3” (76mm) flexible co-linear venting to allow 

for installation into exisiting masonary fireplaces (see Figures 30-32). Co-linear venting 

can not

 be used 

in combustible chimney installations. This adapter kit is for 

vertical terminations only 

and can’t be 

connected to a chimney flue serving a seperate solid-fuel burning stove or appliance.
