The placement of the logs is not arbitrary. If they are positioned incorrectly, the flames can be “pinched”
and will not burn correctly. All of the logs come with either a drilled hole or notch to make alignment
easier. Using the pictures provided, carefully set the logs in place (see Figures 45 through 51).
NOTE: The logs are fragile and should be handled gently.
Please ensure that there is no damage
to the log set and all 9 pieces are
included prior to installation.
To Install Log Set:
1. Remove the safety screen from the
unit. Then remove the glass door
by releasing the top spring latches
using the provided door tool.
2. Next, install the back log, as shown
in Figure 45, and position it all the
way to the right. The right front
corner will rest on the triangle
support when installed correctly.
Then fill the front ember tray with
the supplied glass media. Save a
few pieces for the end of the setup.
3. Install the two large flat bottommed
logs in the middle of the ember bed
as shown in Figure 46. Both logs
have a hole drilled in the bottom

that sits on a corresponding pin on the

until they contact the back log
4. Next, Install the front two flat
bottommed logs on the burner, as
shown in Figure 47. Both logs have
two drilled holes on the bottom that
sit on the matching burner pins.
