WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

Open windows
•
Do not try to light any appliance.
•
Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any
phone in your building.
•
Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's
phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions.
•
If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire
department.

Do not store or use gasoline or other Flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.
Massachusetts Installations (WARNING):
This product must be installed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter when installed within the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Other Massachusetts code requirements:-Flexible connector must not be longer than 36”, shutoff valve
must be a “T” handle gas cock, only direct vent sealed combustion products are approved for bedroom/bathrooms, fireplace dampers
must be removed or welded in the open position prior to the installation of a fireplace insert or gas log.
