To acquire the consumption reading, calculate the diff erence between the old and new cumulative read-
ings. Using the example, you can calculate the energy used by the current transformer 1 during one min-
ute: 396456 – 396444 = 12Wh. You can get the total energy by fi rst calculating the diff erences of all the
three current transformers and then adding them together. In this way, it is easy to create various con-
sumption curves from a desired period using a spreadsheet.
The outdoor temperature information is saved in the fi le with one second intervals. This reading consists
of three fi elds.

Ensto eGuard Installation Instructions
The equipment may only be installed by a qualifi ed person. Disconnect the supply voltage before instal-
lation and servicing. These instructions must be stored in a safe location and must be available during
future installation and servicing. NOTE: When installing the device, the safety distances according to the
SELV and PELV circuit requirements must be taken into consideration.
Installing ECO602 and power supply
ECO602 is the measuring device of the Ensto eGuard system. The device
is designed for installation together with the power supply into a DIN
rail in an electricity distribution board or into a closed space near the
board in such a way that a user cannot touch the connectors and screw
heads. A safety distance of 25 mm is required between the 12VDC volt-
age supply of the ECO602 measuring device and the live 230VAC parts
of the power supply.
The antenna should be located outside the distribution board in as
open a space as possible, e.g. on top or side of the board. For effi
cient
operation, the antenna should be mounted to a metal surface or base.
Connect the feed cable to the SMA connector of ECO602. NOTE! The
location of the antenna has a signifi cant impact on reception. In an or-
dinary house, the range is 5 to 50 m depending on the construction
materials, surrounding structures and the number of fl oors in between.
Connect the water-meter pulse counter to inputs Pulse 1 and GND of
ECO602, and the district-heating pulse counter to inputs Pulse 2 and
GND.
