settings via DHCP, the assigned IP address cannot be predicted. Two approaches overcome this issue:

web to find out the correct address.
Use the menu command

for details. But this approach may fail if e.g. due
to power failure a new address is assigned during device operation.

Access using a unique host name
Optionally, an unique host name for the capt
2
web can be set. Typically the capt
2
web can be accessed directly
from the browser using the host name rather than the fixed IP address.
By default, an individual static IP address is configured in the capt
2
web . Please check the label on the back. Using
this address, capt
2
web is accessible if the dynamic address retrieval should fail.
