INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Before plugging the appliance into the power supply, ensure that the switch is in the "0"

position and that the fastening clips on the hopper are fully secured. Also make sure that the
appliance is used on a level, dry surface.

2. Position the juice container below the corresponding spout, and the pulp container below the

pulp removal chute. Prepare the food pusher.

3. In order to fit the fruit/vegetables through the hopper, cut them into pieces (maximum 2.5x4cm)

N.B.:

a) The appliance must only be used for the extraction of juice.

b) It is not recommended for use with bananas or similar products, as these do not produce juice.

c) Only insert fruits which have been pitted into the hopper (e.g. plums, peaches, cherries, etc.).

Remove the tough outer peel from fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, oranges etc. before
inserting them into the hopper.

Other fruits and vegetables with a thin peel must be washed before they are inserted into the

hopper with the peel on (e.g. carrots, grapes, strawberries, apples etc.). Better performances
are attained if the peel is removed before processing the fruits/vegetables.

d) Do not insert foodstuffs such as walnuts, cocoa beans, corn, peanuts etc. into the appliance, as

they damage the filter and the auger.

e) This appliance is not suitable for extracting juice from very fibrous fruits and vegetables, such

as sugar cane and parsley.

f) Do not use the appliance to press lemons.

4. Turn the activating switch to the "I" position; the auger will begin to twist in a clockwise

direction to extract the juice.
Turn the switch to "0" to turn the appliance off.
If ingredient residues left attached to the inside of the filter prevent the removal of pulp through
the chute provided, turn the switch to the "II" position to make the auger turn in an

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Make sure that the switch is in the "0" position and remove the plug from the socket before

cleaning.

2. Disassemble all the parts, following the assembly procedure previously described

in the "Instructions for Assembly" section in reverse order.

3. Immerse the detachable parts in water and use the brush to clean the pulp residues left on them.

N.B.: On the bottom of the juicing chamber there is a securing seal which may move during

cleaning operations. Remember to return it to its original position, as otherwise it will not be
possible to attach the juicing chamber to the motor base and the appliance will not work as it
should.

4. Use a soft cloth to clean the containers, chamber, filter, auger, food pusher and hopper.
5. Use a damp cloth to clean the motor base and leave it to dry. Warning: do not

immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.

6. Dry the parts and reassemble them all. Store the appliance in a dry place. N.B.: certain types of

fruit and vegetables - such as carrots - stain parts during the juicing process. This is a normal
phenomenon and has no impact on health. To remove staining, you can try pouring a few drops

of vegetable oil and washing-up liquid onto a cloth and using it to wipe the stained parts.

Before operating the appliance, always make sure that both fastening clips have been fully secured.

N.B.: To disassemble the appliance, follow the same steps in reverse order. If it is impossible to
detach the auger from the shaft of the motor base, proceed by directly removing the filter from the

juicing chamber.

anti-clockwise direction, then turn the switch to the "I" position in order to allow the pulp out

through the chute provided.

5. Insert the fruits and vegetables slowly through the hopper provided, using the food pusher

exclusively.
Warning: do not insert fingers or other objects into the hopper. If the hopper becomes blocked,

use the food pusher or another piece of fruit to dislodge the blocked fruit. If this does not work,

switch the appliance off by turning the switch to the “0” position, disconnect the plug from the

socket and remove the fruit causing the blockage, detaching - if necessary - the detachable parts.

6. Turn the switch to the "0" position if either the juice or pulp container is full, and switch the

appliance off if there is no fruit inside to be juiced. Empty the containers and clean the appliance

before the next use.
Warning: do not use the appliance for longer than 15 minutes without a break. Allow the
appliance to cool down for at least 30 minutes. The appliance can be used again only after it has

cooled down completely.

N.B.: Do not overfill with fruit and vegetables at each cycle. Cease operation when

the juicing chamber is full.

7. After use, turn the switch to the "0" position and remove the plug from the power socket.
