Turn the register to the reading position so that the readability of the register display, all meter data and
the conformity and metrology marking is ensured.

Open the shut-off valve of the supply line. Check the meter for function, tightness and correct flow
direction.

Secure the meter against unauthorized removal using the enclosed seal.

If necessary, shorten the rosette and place it on the counter.
4.2 Installation of the
WaterStar M MET
in an in-wall housing (thread M64x2)
The WaterStar M MET has an M64x2 thread in accordance with DIN EN ISO 4064-
4 resp. DIN EN 14154-2 (MET) and must be installed without transition adapter.

Before removing the blind cover (1), thoroughly flush the pipe.

Close the shut-off valve in the supply line to the in-wall housing (2).

If necessary, remove the plastering aid (3). Unscrew the blind cover (1)
and remove the old molded gasket (4). -
In case of exchange after
calibration period,
instead destroy the sealing ring (7) or the wire seal of
the old measuring insert using a screwdriver, unscrew the old measuring
insert using the appropriate mounting wrench and remove the old form
seal (4).

If necessary, clean sealing surfaces and threads of dirt and debris.

Check the new molded seal (5) and the new meter (6) before installation
to ensure that only clean, damage-free components are installed. Lightly
grease the flat surface of the new molded gasket facing the meter with
food-safe silicone grease and place it with the profile side in the groove
of the in-wall housing.

Screw the meter into the in-wall housing until it reaches the fixed stop.
Use the appropriate mounting key.

Turn the totalizer in the reading direction so that the readability of the
totalizer display, all meter characteristics and the conformity and
metrology markings is ensured.

Open the shut-off valve. Check the meter for function, tightness and
correct flow direction.

Secure the meter against unauthorized removal by sliding the
seal ring (7) over the meter cover until it snaps into place irreversibly.

Shorten the rosette (8) if necessary and place it on the counter.
