To stop charging:
Press the START-STOP (23) button.
Using the jump start function (BOOST mode)
The charger’s jump start function can be used to help start vehicles with a weak battery.
In very low temperatures or if the battery voltage is below 3V, charge the battery for at least 5 minutes before jump starting.
1. Connect the charger as described in section “Connecting the device”.
2. Repeatedly press the CHARGE MODE (26) button to select BOOST mode.
3. Press the START-STOP (23) button to start the BOOST mode. Note: The BOOST mode can only be started with a connected battery.
4. Try starting the vehicle.
Note: Try starting for max. 30 seconds. Wait approx. 5 minutes before trying to start it again to allow the charger
and battery to cool down.
5. Press the START-STOP (23) button to exit the BOOST mode.
Note: The BOOST mode will automatically stop after approx. 30 seconds to prevent damage to the device.
Disconnecting the device
1. Press the button to be sure the power is off.
2. Disconnect the red (+) pole connector cable from the positive pole of the battery.
3. Disconnect the black (-) pole connector cable from the negative pole of the battery.
Switching the display
During the charging process, you can repeatedly press the SELECT DISPLAY (29) button to show the following parameters:
V = charging voltage (27)
% = battery charge condition (28)
Before charging, only the current battery voltage can be displayed.
After charging, only the battery charge condition can be displayed.
Charging time
A battery’s charging time greatly depends on its charge condition and capacity.
