CoolGuard
What is CoolGuard?
When you turn off your system, CoolGuard will keep all the fans inside your system
running for a certain period of time. In the moment you turn your system off, the
temperature inside the PSU air intake will be measured and one of two modes being
activated:
Temperature < 45
℃
: Fans work for 10 seconds and then stop. (Light Cooling Mode)
Temperature > 45
℃
: Fans work until temperature is below 45
℃
, but longest for
1
minutes.
(Even if temperature is still > 45
℃
)
Why is it a “must-have”?
Getting the heat out of your system prolongs its’ life by up to 20%. Because after shutting
down, the heat would stay within for a long time and reducing lifetime of each of the
components inside.
