pail and run for 10 minutes. At end of 10 minutes, shut the heat pump off. 

After rinsing the pail out, place the pail under a fresh water tap and let the water run into pail at 

about the pumping rate of the heat pump. 

Place the heat pump inlet hose in the pail. Position the outlet hose to discharge into a drain. 

Apply power to the pump and allow fresh water to circulate through the heat pump for five (5) 

minutes or until discharged water is clear. Shut off the heat pump. 

Reconnect the heat pump to the water tank and purge air from the piping. Reconnect wiring to fan 

and compressor. Reconnect power to the HPA heat pump and resume normal operation.
