When installing the safety unit, the correct direction of the hydraulic flow must be
taken into account. The correct direction is represented by an arrow on the
component itself. Incorrect installation poses a danger to equipment and people.
The safety valve must be activated regularly in order to remove limescale deposits
and check that it is not blocked.
The discharge tube of the safety valve must be open to the atmosphere, properly
oriented towards the sewer, as the valve may drip or even discharge water.
The discharge pipe connected to the safety valve must be installed in a non-icy
environment and continuously oriented downwards.

The operation of the thermal circuit breaker indicates a possibly dangerous situation.
Do not reset the thermal circuit breaker until the equipment has been repaired or
inspected by a qualified person.

In order to avoid any danger due to the untimely rearming of the thermal circuit
breaker, the device must not be powered by an external switch, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly put under and out of voltage by the electricity.
When installing:
•
The installation of heat pump equipment for heating sanitary water must be carried out by
staff with suitable training and qualified for this purpose;
•
The device should not be installed in places that present a risk of impact, shock or
explosion;
•
Keep the equipment packed until you reach the place and time of installation;
•
Make sure all hydraulic couplings are watertight before connecting the equipment to the
power supply.
Maintenance of the equipment:
•
Equipment maintenance should be carried out by customer service, except operations of
general and continuous cleaning which could/should be carried out by the user;
•
Power supply to the equipment must be disconnected during maintenance operations;
•
The supplier recommends at least one annual inspection to the equipment, by a qualified
technician;
•
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are under
supervision
