Insulation monitor-
ing whilst running
With the following instructions you will learn how your generator detects an insu-
lation fault of a connected consumable during operation and how it protects you.
Requirements
The generator has started and is running.
Line circuit breaker is in POS I.
1. Use a socket to connect a consumer up to the generator.
The lamp
and the position of the line circuit breaker indicate the result of the
test:
If an insulation fault exists and the unit was previously OK when tested without a
device connected (see above), the insulation fault has been caused by the de-
vice.
1. Use its operating switch to switch off the consumable.
2. Disconnect the consumer from the generator's socket
3. Press the reset button
to reset the insulation monitoring system.
4. Move the line circuit breaker into POS I.
Your generator is ready to use again.
